Lorraine Griffith

Frances Lorraine Griffith, 88, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, February 25, 2008 in a local healthcare facility. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church. Mrs. Griffith was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill Frazier and Mae O?Neal Frazier; brothers: Bill Frazier, Herbert Frazier, Wayne Frazier, Fred Frazier and Ralph Frazier; sisters: Opal Collett and Ethel Tinsley. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, W.C. Griffith of Cleveland; children: Jan Lovelace and husband, Harry of Lenoir City, Ken Griffith and wife, Julie of Cleveland; 4 grandchildren: Chris Thomas and wife Susannah of Cleveland, Mitch Thomas and wife Kimberley of Knoxville, Jonathan Griffith of Chattanooga and Brian Griffith and wife Tammy of Durham, NC; 3 great grandchildren: Noelle Thomas, Alex Thomas and Max Thomas all of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2008 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Caywood officiating. A private interment will be conducted on Thursday in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
