Barbara Ann Hammonds Teague, 68, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2008 in a local hospital. She was of the Baptist faith. She was retired from Coppingers Color Lab after thirty years of service. Mrs. Teague was the daughter of the late Arlin Alberts Hammonds and Addie Kate Bledsoe Hammonds and was also preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Teague, Jr. and a brother, Jerald Hammonds. She is survived by her children: Tammy Elaine Armstrong and husband, Randall Armstrong and Randall Wayne Teague all of Cleveland; six grandchildren: Matthew Teague, Amanda Lambert, Maddie Armstrong, Dani Armstrong, Amber Armstrong and Ashley Armstrong; one great-grandchild, Indica Teague; five sisters: Alma Louise Lombardi of Etowah, Alberta Rogers of Athens, Octsie Pauline Price of Riceville, Brenda Gail Tallent of Etowah and Terry June Nesmith of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2008 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Lake Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Andy Lambert, Brian Rogers, Robert Nesmith, Jimmy Higdon, Michael Nesmith, Lucky Duggan, Doug Duggan and Waylon Price will serve as pallbearers.
