Philip Weldon Conner, 67, a resident of Cleveland and formerly of Panama City, FL went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 26, 2008. He was a retired master carpenter and homebuilder. He was a member of Westwood Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. He is survived by his wife, Imogene Conner of Cleveland; 2 sons: Tony Conner and wife, Merrilee of FL, Scott Conner and wife, Ainsley of FL; step-daughters: Diana McRea of FL and Rhonda West and husband, Steve West of Cleveland; 10 grandchildren: Brandon, Madison, Hayden, Olivia, Scotty, Christopher, Amber, Jaclyn, Steven and Michael; 2 great grandchildren: Audrey and Brody; brother, Emery Conner of GA; sisters: Nettie B. Gilbert of FL, Estelle Woodham of AL and Vivian Hagan of FL; and a special pet, Toby. Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Caywood and Harold Reno officiating. His family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
