Mary Beck

Mary "Pat" Beck, 73, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2008 at the family residence. She became a member of Big Spring Baptist Church in 1963. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, James W. Stevison and Ethel Disharoon; brother, James L. Stevison and great grandson, Glen Seaton IV. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Claude Julian Beck of Cleveland; children: Rodney and Betty Beck and Brian and Robin Beck all of Cleveland; grandchildren: Angela Seaton, Rodney Beck, Jr., Toren Beck and Casey Beck; great grandchildren: Alicia Beck, Chase Beck, Mason Beck, Kammarye Beck and Kailey Seaton; 3 sisters: Frankie Joyce Officer, Amy Kay Stevenson, Shavanah Clabough; 1 brother, David Stevison; several nieces and nephews and many family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor George Bulson officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Gene Hysinger, Joe Brooks, Johnny Baker, Jerry Dunlap, Ron Ross and Keith Allen serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
