Raymon Michael Taylor, 27, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2008 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was a member of Westwood Baptist Church where he played clarinet in the church orchestra. He was a member of the Greater Cleveland Community Band where he was the clarinet section leader. Mr. Taylor proudly served in the U.S. Marines where he held the rank of corporal. He served on active duty in the Iraq Conflict in Fallujah. He graduated from University of TN at Chattanooga with a degree in Business Administration. He was currently an insurance agent with Farmers Insurance Group. He is survived by his wife, Rachael Edge Taylor of Brentwood; his mother, Patricia Cawood and her husband, Tom Cawood of Cleveland; his father, Charles Allen Taylor of Cutler Bay, FL; 3 brothers: Patrick Taylor of Clarksville, Tim Taylor and Stephen Taylor both of Cutler Bay, FL; paternal grandparents, Raymon and Vada Taylor of Grand Prairie, TX. The service to celebrate the life of Raymon Taylor will be held Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. at Westwood Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Caywood officiating. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following the service. Inurnment will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. The service will conclude with military honors.
