Sally Nerren Phillips

Mary Frances Jones Wattenbarger, 86, a resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Friday, April 25, 2008 in a local healthcare facility. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Mrs. Wattenbarger was a veteran of the U.S. Marines where she served from December 31, 1943 to January 18, 1946 with the rank of corporal. She was a graduate of the National School of Business in Cleveland and Polk County High School. She retired from the accounting department of Magic Chef after 20 plus years of employment. She was preceded in death by her mother, Edna Dalton Guthrie. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Jennifer Wattenbarger Beuke and husband, ?Hank? Beuke, Jr. of North Myrtle Beach, SC; 1 grandson, Christopher L. Murphy and wife, Kelley of Franklin, TN; 2 great grandchildren: Caila Murphy and Andrew Murphy both of Franklin; 1 sister, Ann G. Martin of Charleston, TN; 2 brothers, R. Rush Guthrie of Riceville, TN and Ronald R. Guthrie of Crossville, TN; and 3 nieces and 3 nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 28, 2008 in the chapel of Bradley Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday at the healthcare facility.
