James E. Cavanagh, 66, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at the family residence. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Senior Center and was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. He was employed by General Dynamics for many years. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Cavanagh and his son, James Cavanagh. Survivors include his wife, Linda M. Cavanagh of Cleveland; mother, Ruth Cavanagh of Brattleboro, VT; children: Sharon Mattison of Arlington, VT, Michelle Pape of Arlington, VT, Allison Cavanagh of Bennington, VT, Philip Cavanagh, Tracy Sellers and John Cavanagh all of Cleveland; step daughter, Jennifer Fanning of Port St. John, Florida; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters: Janet Putnum and Debbie Cavanagh both of Brattleboro, VT; two brothers: Earl Cavanagh of Brattleboro, VT and Mike Cavanagh of Hinsdale, New Hamphshire.
