Marsha Ann Frederick McDaniel, 60, a resident of McDonald, passed away Friday, June 27, 2008, in a local hospital. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and was also a song writer and singer with the gospel group "Heavens Family Ties". She was formerly employed with Peytons. Her father, Lawrence E. Frederick, preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, James Edwin McDaniel of McDonald; mother, Frances Frederick of McDonald; three children and their spouses: Jon and Leslie Smith of Cartersville, GA, Wimberly and Jim Taylor of Chattanooga, and Jillian and Dom Schwinne of Cartersville, GA; two step-sons: Eddie McDaniel and wife Lori, and Mike McDaniel and wife Stacey, all of Cleveland; five grandchildren: Christian, Zaine, Abey, Ryan and Bella; three step-grandchildren: Amber, Zachary and Chaney; one step great-granddaughter, Mali Grace; one sister, Carolyn Cox of McDonald; two brothers: Michael Frederick of McDonald, and Tim Frederick of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 30,2008, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Dennis Chambers and Reverend Johnny Underwood officiating. Interment will follow in Corinth Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony. Her family will receive friends Sunday from 2 ? 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
