Jerry David Johnson

Jerry David Johnson, 60, a resident of Monteagle, died Monday, July 13, 2009 at a Chattanooga healthcare facility. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Vietnam Conflict. He was of the Christian faith. He was preceded in death by a son, Shawn Johnson and parents, Henry Johnson and Ollie Cockran Johnson. He is survived by a son, Jeff Johnson of Copperhill; grandson, Tyler Johnson; sisters, Betty Stewart of Copperhill and Grace Clore of Florida; and brothers, Bill Johnson of Arkansas and James Johnson of Georgia. Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 17, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
