George Scott Warren, 56, a resident of Cleveland, passed away July 27, 2009 at his residence following a long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Army. He was a member of Waterville Baptist Church where he was active in the men’s ministry. He was employed as Supervisor of Engineering at Erlanger Medical Center and an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents Stanley Allen and Virginia Faye Cox Warren. Survivors include his wife of 31 years Teresa S. Warren; three children and spouses: Kerry and Chris Johnson of Cleveland, Brandon and Shonna Warren of Cleveland, Erin And Shaun Daniels of Chattanooga; three grandchildren: D.J. Johnson, Jakob Warren, Nolan Cash Daniels; one brother Stanley Edward Warren of Pensacola, FL; two sisters: Sassy Foster of Knoxville and twin Dott Patton of Knoxville and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at Red Hill Cemetery with Pastor Allen Lovelace officiating. The service will conclude with a white dove release ceremony. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory.
