Benjamin C. Morrow, 95, a resident of Cleveland, died Monday, July 27, 2009 in a local hospital. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific Theater with the United States Coast Guard. He was a member of the American Legion for 63 years and Veterans of Foreign Wars and retired from Maples Chair Company as Business Manager in 1973. He was a member of First Baptist Church where he served as the Director of the Homebound Department and was an usher from 1990 to 2008. He was the son of the late Ed and Mary Morrow and was also preceded in death by his wife Elaine Maples Morrow; five brothers and three sisters. Survivors include his daughter Kaye Miller and husband Billy of Cleveland; son Greg Morrow and wife Kristi of Franklin, TN; grandchildren: Shawn Miller and wife Kaye of Columbia, SC, Melanie Hollis and husband Chappy, Emily McCloy and husband Jimmy, Amy Morrow, Greg Morrow, Stephanie Gaines all of Franklin, TN; great-grandchildren: Gavin and Cody Miller of Columbia, SC; Caleb, Lydia, Natalie, Hope and Charlie Hollis; Aubrey and Matt McCloy all of Frankin, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, July 30 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Walker and Reverend Bill Griffith officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with military honors and a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. His nephews will serve as pallbearers. His family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, July 29, 2009 and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
