Chadwick Brian Mathews

Chadwick “Chad” Brian Mathews, 27, of Charleston, passed away Monday, August 3, 2009 in a local hospital. He was a graduate of Bradley Central High School, Class of 2000. He attended Mt. Olive Ministries. He was an avid fisherman and loved all water sports. He is survived by his parents, Brian Conway Mathews and Cathy Elaine Graham Mathews of Cleveland; sister, Erin Johnson of Cleveland; special niece, Cassidy Johnson; grandparents, Wanda Graham of Charleston and Lawrence and Linda Mathews of Cleveland; uncles and aunts, Wyman Graham and wife, Sharon of Decatur and Brent Mathews and wife, Missy of Cleveland; and several cousins. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Sears officiating. There will be a private graveside service on Thursday with Warren Langley, Nathan Mathews, Dale Pugh, Dewey Henley, John Tinsley, Wade Horton, David Murphy, Billy Allen and David May serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service.
