Willie Steven Lyles

Willie Steven Lyles, 62, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2009 at the family residence. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Merriman; father, Clarence Willett; and mother, Evelyn Lyles Willett; and brother, Bill “Junior” Willett. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Sydnor; children, Lisa Jo Bennett and Karen Lyles, both of Cleveland, and Michael Lyles of Knoxville; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother, Dale Willett of Birchwood; and sister, Debbie Sheldon of Decatur. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, August 31, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Guinn Green officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors. A white dove release will conclude the service.
