Mary C Underwood

Mary C. Underwood, 90, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2009, in a local hospital. She was a member of West Cleveland Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Olen and Lizzie Curbow, as well as her husband, Paul Underwood, brothers: J. Melford Curbow, A. Frank Curbow and Sam Curbow, and one sister, Olene Rush. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Kathleen Underwood of Ailey, GA; one grandson, Michael Underwood of Ailey, GA; three sisters-in-law, Betty Curbow of Ocoee, Lucille Curbow of Cleveland, and Carrie Bates of McDonald; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2009, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Arris Cavender and Pastor Jeff Bentley officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens concluding with a white dove release ceremony. Michael Underwood, David Morrison, Tim Morrison, Doyle Hawkins, Brian Clowers and Matthew Underwood will serve as pallbearers.
