Elizabeth Ann Moore

February 21, 1943 — September 29, 2009

Elizabeth Ann Moore, 66, a resident of Old Fort, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2009, in a local hospital. She was a member of Beech Springs Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday school teacher. She was also a former member of Maple Street Baptist Church. Her parents, Daniel and Naomi Hicks Jennings, preceded her in death as well as a brother, Harvey Jennings. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, D. Arnold Moore of Old Fort; two children and their spouses: Virgil and Anita Moore of Ringgold, GA, and Amanda and Bruce Underwood of Old Fort; three grandchildren: Ashley Moore, Lane Moore and Kaytlin Underwood; one sister: Helen Ballard of Anniston, AL; five brothers: Jerry Jennings of Gordo, AL, Glen Jennings of Mobile, Al, James Jennings of Oxford, Al, Doyle Jennings of Cohutta, GA, and Roger Jennings of Sylacauga, AL; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 1, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Benton Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends from 3 ? 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at the funeral home.
