Gloria E Jimenez

Gloria Jimenez, 81, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2009 at her residence. She was a native of Chicago, IL, but had been a resident of Cleveland for the past 16 years. She was a parishioner of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church. She was involved with the Senior Center on Urbane Road. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luis Jimenez; parents, Octavanio and Guadalupe Ramirez; son, Carlos Jimenez; sister, Irene Smith; and brother, Manuel Ramirez. She is survived by her children, Robert Jimenez of Chicago, IL, Lucy Rinks of McDonald, Jaime Jimenez of McDonald, Benito Jimenez of Clearwater, FL and Miguel Jimenez of McDonald; 8 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother, Joe O. Ramirez of Chicago, IL; and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial was held today, Friday, October 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church with Father Peter Iorio and Father Michael Maples officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Evergreen Park, IL on Monday, October 5, 2009 at 12:00 noon CST. The family will receive friends today, Friday, October 2, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
