Melvin Bramlett, 74, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2009, in a Chattanooga hospital. He was a mechanic at Hardwick Clothes. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, John W. Bramlett and Susie A. Lewis Bramlett; children, Greg Bramlett and Pamela Sue Bramlett; five brothers; and six sisters. He is survived by his wife, Dianna S. Bramlett of Cleveland; children, Wesley Bramlett, Jeff Bramlett and wife, Diane, and Michael Bramlett, all of Cleveland; daughter-in-law, Pam Bramlett of Cleveland; 10 grandchildren, including special granddaughter, Mallory Ledford; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Ozella Godfrey of Benton; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. Graveside services will be on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Tyler Bramlett, Joey Bramlett, Jeffery Bramlett, John John Hyde, Raymond Shew II and Bryan Morrow will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Wesley Bramlett, Jr. and Eli Wright. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 13th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. prior to the memorial service.
