Helen Ruth Jordan

Helen Ruth Jordan, 74, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013 in a Monteagle healthcare facility. She was a member of Michigan Avenue Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Patterson Park High School in Baltimore, Maryland. She was a former employee of Hickory Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents, August M. Harvey and Edna Marie Reid Harvey and was also preceded in death by her two sisters, Louise Hudak and Elsie Harvey. She is survived by her two daughters, Betty Sue Jordan of Florida and Carol Jordan Arp and husband, Brian Arp of Cleveland; four grandchildren: Andy R. Arp, Tiffany L. Arp, Emily S. Doss and husband, Sam all of Cleveland and Philip Pione of Florida; one sister, Reba J. Huber and husband, Ralph Huber of Cleveland; two brothers, August M. Harvey and wife, Loretta Harvey of Cleveland and Glenn R. Campbell of California; two special nieces Linda Hudak of Baltimore, Maryland and Darlene Blackwell of Knoxville, TN; several other nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2013 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Dr. Jay McCluskey officiating. Interment will follow in Riceville Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Her family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2013 at the funeral home.
