Gedena O Munger

Gedena O. Munger, 84, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013 in a Cleveland healthcare facility. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She was retired from Jack?s Cleaners after many years of service. Mrs. Munger was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde O. Munger; her parents, Lester Crowe and Vallie Clark Crowe; she was a Gold Star mother of her son, John R. Munger, who lost his life in Viet Nam in 1970 and brother, Clyde Crowe. She is survived by her son, Clyde Doyle Munger and wife, R. Lynn of Cleveland; three grandchildren, Helen E. Munger of Columbia, SC, Ian J. Wolfe Munger of Cleveland and Candyce Curran and husband, Joey of Augusta, GA; two great-grandchildren, Brian Drew Stubbs of Pensacola, FL and Steven Mann of Cleveland; one brother, Bill Crowe of California; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2013 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Johnnie Humberd officiating. Interment will be held at 2:30 p.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
