Johnny Robert Lott

Johnny Robert Lott, 89, of Cleveland passed away on Friday, July 26, 2013 at his residence. He retired from Magic Chef after 15 years of service. He was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church. Mr. Lott enjoyed gardening, working in his flowers, and listening to southern gospel music. He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie K. and Curtis E. Harris Lott; sister, Gladys Hurst; and one granddaughter, Angela Jacobs. He is survived by his wife of 62½ years, Lorene Bennett Lott; son, Timothy Lott of Cleveland; daughters: Brenda Kendrick and husband Dean of Cleveland, and Jannie Mosley and husband James of Charleston; three grandchildren: Norman Jacobs and wife Angie, Rhonda Bandy and husband Stephen, and Saliena Sizemore and husband Trey; seven great-grandchildren: Amanda Culbertson, Michael Spicer, Zackary and Angelina Thornhill, Nathanael Jacobs, Chandlar Christenson, and Ira-Wyatt Bandy; two sisters: Marian Hayes and Hazel Register; two brothers, Clyde Lott and Edwin Lott; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2013 at the First United Pentecostal Church with Pastor William Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens concluding with a white dove release ceremony. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
