Barbara Eugenia Elliott

Barbara Eugenia Elliott, 83, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013 at her residence. She was a member of Cedar Springs Baptist Church. She was retired from Hardwicks Clothes. Mrs. Elliott was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. "Bull" Elliott; sons: Robert Lee Elliott, Jr., James "Jimmy" Elliott and Terry Lynn "Sprucie" Elliott; special grandson, Robert John Elliott; parents, John "Red" Taylor Horner and Tennie C. Horner. She is survived by her two children: Sue Melton Sandridge and David and Sherry Witherspoon and Steven all of Cleveland; twelve grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; four sisters: Betty Griffith of Cleveland, Katherine Parker of Murfreesboro, Jo Ann Smally Mayes of Rossville, GA, Harriet Bitzel of Ooltewah; four brothers: Richard Horner of Signal Mountain, David Horner of Crossville, Paul Horner and Danny Horner both of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Cedar Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Leroy Elliott officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Springs Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
