Donald William Segraves, 71, a lifetime resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013 in a Chattanooga healthcare facility. He attended Benton Station Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a member of the AmVets Post 13. He was retired from Maytag. Mr. Segraves was preceded in death by his wife, Gayle R. Crisp Segraves; parents, Dallas Olen Segraves and Amie Pauline Evans Segraves; sisters, Edith Derrick and Barbara Johnson; brother, Al (Bud) Segraves. Survivors include his five children: Kelli Segraves, Donielle (Donnie) Segraves and fiancée, Dr. Steve Williams, and Lisa Segraves all of Cleveland, Tony Segraves and wife, Tara of Atlanta, GA, and Paul Miller and wife, Amy of Benton; ten grandchildren, Amber and Joesph Pritchett, Toby Mitchell, Ashley and Katilyn Miller, Zackary and Cortney Roark, William Burdette, Drew Segraves and Courtney Segraves; five great-grandchildren, Hunter Miller, Makhali Wells, Emory Smith, Aiden Polezhove and Roman Polezhove; two sisters, Ruby Cronan of Charleston and Pat Lee and husband, Neil of Cleveland; one sister-in-law, Glenda Segraves of Forsythe, Georgia; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 5, 2013 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Ron Derrick officiating. Interment will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Joe Derrick, Terry Panter, Freddie Panter, Anthony Keith, Zackary Roark and William Burdette will serve as pallbearers. His family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the funeral home.
