Geneva "Tootsie" Howard, 78, of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, April 11, 2013. She was born in Harrison, Tennessee on September 2, 1934, to the late Chester Roach and Lora Sutton. She was of the Baptist faith. She lived the last twenty-five years of her life in Chattanooga where she was owner and operator of Tootsie?s Dog Grooming. Always known as a hard worker and a good friend, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Viola Williams and Donna Carden, two brothers, Ira Edward Roach and Bobby Lee Roach, and nephew, Ron Williams. She is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Walter Howard. She also leaves behind a number of extended family members and friends. The family has elected to not have any public service at this time. In lieu of flowers, you may make a contribution to your favorite animal welfare organization, or to Hospice of Chattanooga.
