Mary F Harris

Mary F. Harris, 73, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013, in a local hospital. She was a member of North Cleveland Baptist Church for the past 35 years. She retired from Duracell after 17 ½ years of service, and later was employed by Billy B?s Antiques and Jones Flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.P. Raines and Pearl Lewis Raines; and four brothers, Paul, Charles, Freddy, and Clayton Raines. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Roy Ralph Harris of Cleveland; one son Stephen Harris and wife Linda Renee of Cleveland; four grandchildren, Chris, Cyle, Courtney, and Casey Harris all of Cleveland; one great-grandchild, Haylyn Harris of Cleveland; three sisters, Jane Green of Benton, Teresa Kibble of Ooltewah, and Jacqueline Gaston of Athens; and four brothers, Don Raines of Ocoee, Johnny and Roy Raines of Benton, Ronnie Raines of Monticello, GA; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Dr. Jay McCluskey officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The service will conclude with a white dove release ceremony. Pall bearers will be Chris Harris, Cyle Harris, Don Raines, Dean Ratcliff, Danny Ratcliff, and Ronnie Raines. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2013, at the funeral home.
