John M. Shealy, (A.K.A. The Fonz) 54, of Cleveland, passed away early Tuesday morning February 26, 2013. Mike was the youngest of three children of Leon H. Shealy and Louise B. Shealy. He was the father of four girls. Mike was a graduate of UTC and employed with the City of Chattanooga as an engineer, Mike was an elder at First Lutheran Church. He enjoyed working on anything mechanical and was an avid amateur wrestling fan, along with riding dirt bikes. Mike is survived by his children: Ann and husband, Scott Schatzman, (two grandsons, Jacob and Samuel), all of St. Louis, MO, Michelle, Hailey and Natalie Shealy all of Cleveland; brother, Herb Shealy of Cleveland; sister, Cynthia and husband, David Clarke of Winter Haven, FL; four nieces, Mallory Shealy of Cleveland, Hannah and Rachel Clarke of Winter Haven, FL, Leslie Reed of Statesboro, GA; one nephew, Corey Shealy of Dothan, AL. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the First Lutheran Church with Pastor Robert Seaton and Dewayne Shriver officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Roger White, Dale Ledford, Robb Ray, David Clarke, Alan Paasche, Tom Cooke and Jim Shealy serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. His family will receive friends from 4:00m p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2013 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
