Earl Hall

May 14, 1919 — March 5, 2013

Earl Hall, 93, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013 in a Chattanooga healthcare facility. He was a member of Bowman Hills 7th Day Adventist Church. Mr. Hall worked with his brothers in the Cleveland Broom Company for 65 years. He and his wife enjoyed camping and were members of two camping clubs, Cleveland Roadrunners and Chattanooga Moccasins. His parents, Jasper and Ola Hall preceded him in death along with his sister, Viola Lovett; and brothers: Thomas Hall, Albert Hall and Dan Hall. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Iola Hall of Cleveland; son, Robert Hall and wife, Karen of Scottsdale, AZ; daughter, Linda Wolfe and husband, Steve of Ooltewah; daughter, Joy Young and husband, Norman of Apison; brother, Art Hall and wife, Shirley of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren: Sherry Goode, Annette Haskin, Michael Hall, Tammy Garrett, Chipper Young, and special grandson, Bill Collison; 7 great grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 8, 2013 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Dwight Herrod officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Jim Garrett, Chipper Young, Pete Haskin, Tyler Garrett, Josh Hale and Charles Correll serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013 and one hour prior to the service on Friday at funeral home.
