Lassie D Woody

Lassie D. Woody, 95, a resident of LaGrange, KY, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013 in a local healthcare facility. She was a former resident of Cleveland, TN. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Parks Belk and Miller?s Department Store. She was a volunteer for many years at Bradley Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents: Donald L. and Dorothy Mattie Worley Weaver; husband: Oakley Woody, Jr.; son: Oakley Woody, III. She is survived by a son: Charles E. Woody and wife Carol of Decatur, TN; daughter: Judy Bingham and husband Jim of Pendleton, KY; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by half-sister: Dosha Railey of Powell, TN; half-brother: William Donald Weaver and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend Jimmy S. Bingham officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 8, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
