Reneida I Anderson

Reneida I. Anderson, 62, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at her residence. She was a member of Samples Memorial Baptist Church. She was a school bus driver for Bradley County Schools for over 30 years. Her hobbies included hunting and crocheting. Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Anderson, father, Marvin Gates, two step-children: Mike Anderson and Katy Underwood. She is survived by her mother, Ada Gates of Cleveland; three children: Ada Anderson, Cathy Caywood and husband, Gary Caywood, Labron Anderson and wife, Beth Anderson all of Cleveland; seven grandchildren: Tim Anderson, Casey Park, Cheyenne Anderson, Maleah Anderson, Lisa Dalton all of Cleveland, Julie Bowers and Chris Bowers both of Crandall, GA; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Odell Gates and wife, Marylin Gates and Paul Gates and wife, Patti Gates all of Cleveland; one sister and best friend, Frankie Gates of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2012 at Samples Memorial Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Cameron officiating. Interment will follow in Union Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Doug Ingram, Chris Ingram, Brandon Ingram, Mark Young, Zack Gates and Shane Dunlap serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the church. The family will also receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday at the church prior to the service. Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
