Olive Barnett Olive W. Barnett, 90, a resident of Russellville, Alabama and a former resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, December 21, 2012 in Russellville, Alabama. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. He retired from TVA in 1974 after many years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Mr. Barnett was preceded in death by his wife, Dottie Dee Barnett; parents, Henry Lee Barnett and Elsie Barnett and also a step-son, Tommy McKamey. He is survived by his step-daughter, Charlotte Stiles of Chattanooga; four step-grandchildren: Monica McKamey of Cleveland, Eric Stiles of Lookout Mountain, Dana Dee Stiles of Summerfield, NC and Brandi McKamey McKenzie of Jackson, MS; five step-great-grandchildren, three step-great-great grandchildren; three nephews: Howard Barnett, Hal Barnett and Mickey Barnett all of Russellville, Alabama; one niece, Sue Pilgrim of Russellville, Alabama. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2012 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Paul officiating. Interment will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, December 24, 2012 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors. His family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the funeral home prior to the service.
