Priscilla Lee Pugh Oyler, 73, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at home with her family by her side. She was born June 16, 1939 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She was born second of the identical twin daughters to the late Guy and Okla Pugh. Mrs. Oyler was a member of Westwood Baptist Church for many years where she was very active in her adult Sunday School Class. She was also the Queen Mother of her Red Hat Society. She loved people and was always ready to help others when she could. Mrs. Oyler is survived by her husband of 54 years, Dr. Ernest N. Oyler, Sr. and two loving children, a daughter Stephanie Oyler McCary and a son, Dr. Ernest N. Oyler, Jr. and wife, Maricela; four grandsons, Dallas and Leighton McCary, Sebastian and Adrian Oyler. She is also survived by her loving twin sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and John Reeves of Forest Hill, MD, and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2012 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with nephew, Minister Marc Reeves and Pastor Jim Caywood officiating. A committal service will be held on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home prior to the service. A memorial service will be held at Centre United Methodist Church in Forest Hill, MD on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312 in honor of Priscilla Oyler.
