Nelda K. Willhoit, 76, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012 in a local health care facility. She was an active member of Macedonia Baptist Church where she was very involved in the food ministry, women?s ministry, and served as Sunday School secretary for many years. She was a graduate of Bradley Central High School Class of 1955. She was a kindergarten assistant with Bradley County Schools System for many years. Mrs. Willhoit was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Willhoit; parents, Claude Keith and Verta Million Keith; brother, Donald Keith. Survivors include her daughter, Jenna Loveday and husband, Terry of Cleveland; one grandson, Ethan Loveday of Cleveland; four brothers: George Keith and wife, Augustine, Lowell Keith and wife, Mary, Glenn Keith and wife, Carol and Dale Keith all of Cleveland; two sisters: Faye Whaley of Chattanooga and Nancy Roberts and husband, Daniel of Cleveland; sister-in-law, Thelma Keith of Cleveland; brother-in-law, Bruce Willhoit of Chattanooga; sister-in-law, Myrtle Willhoit of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2012 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Carlos Sibley and Pastor Rusty Langford officiating. Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Jeremy White, Justin White, Brent Roberts, Scott Keith, Greg Keith and Mike Whaley serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the food ministry at Macedonia Baptist Church. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2012 at the funeral home prior to the service.
