Orlando Eugene Ramsey

Orlando Eugene Ramsey, 80, formerly of Cleveland and a resident of Oxford, Florida, passed away Monday, September 24, 2012 in a hospital at Ocala, Florida. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Wildwood, Florida and had attended Dalton Pike Baptist Church in Cleveland. He was active in Antique Car Clubs. Mr. Ramsey was the son of the late Orlando G. Ramsey and Martha Pauline Haun Ramsey and was also preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ruth Long Ramsey who passed away on January 29, 1985; brother, Don Ramsey and step grandson, Jeremy Donohoo. He is survived by his wife, Frances Burris Ramsey of Oxford, Florida; one son, Eugene Sam Ramsey and wife, Sandy of Cleveland; one step son, Larry Burris of McDonald; four grandchildren: Cole Dono hoo, Ashlynn Donohoo both of Cleveland, Charles Burris of Knoxville and Brian Burris of Asheville, NC; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Martha Tom Mynatt of Knoxville; two brothers, Glenn Ramsey and Wesley Ramsey both of Cleveland. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 28, 2012 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Dudley Nichols. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
