Robert O. "Bobby" Howard, 65, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2012 in a Nashville hospital. He was a member of West Cleveland Baptist Church where he sang in the choir and was also an usher. He was a former member of the Cleveland Masonic Lodge #134 F.&AM. He was retired from Brown Stove Works after 31 years of service. Mr. Howard was the son of the late Walter Odell Howard and Mary Brewer Howard and was also preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Howard. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Marie Howard of Cleveland; four children: James Brown and wife, Krissy, Robbie Howard and wife Camill, Kim Howard and Lori Burmeister all of Cleveland; one granddaughter, Emma Grace Howard. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 7, 2012 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Ward officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Timothy Shackleford, Jonathan Cathell, Andrew Cathell, Derek Frizzell, Joe Moreau and Chris Graham will serve as pallbearers. His family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the funeral home.
