Martha Davis

Martha Davis, 78, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at her residence. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker who lived for her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents: John P. Acree ad Elsie Cline Acree, two brothers: Elmer Acree and Louis Acree, sister: Johnnie Mae Roberts. She is survived by a son: Samuel Lamar Davis and wife Donna of Cleveland, grandchildren: Dakota and Dylan Davis, step-grandchild Bradley Howard all of Cleveland, sister: Betty Barton of Resaca, Georgia, two sisters-in-law: Marthel Acree of Dalton, Georgia and Dottie Acree of California and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Thursday, October 18, 2012 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in West Hill Cemetery in Dalton, Georgia with Bruce Acree, Dylan Davis, Chris Gobble, Jay Ramsey, Tom Tohill and John Moscheo serving as pallbearers. Kevin Brooks will read the 23rd Psalm. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
