Billy C. "Charlie" Allison, 81, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday morning, October 17, 2012 at his residence in Georgetown, TN. He attended Maple Grove Baptist Church. He was retired from Magic Chef. Mr. Allison was the son of the late Edgar Ples Allison and Jennie Lee Rogers Allison and was also preceded in death by 2 brothers and 3 sisters. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Lillian Allison; daughter Carolyn Allison; sons, Donnie Allison and Dennis Allison all of Georgetown, Billy (Brenda) Allison of Apison, Raymond (Pamela) Allison of Turtletown, TN; 3 grandchildren Gene Allison, Daniel Allison and Rebecca Sartin; 5 great-grandchildren, Connor Allison, Brian and Nathan Sartin, and Emma and Hannah Allison; 3 step grandchildren, Shannon Early, Amy Robinson and Dennis Hoffman; and 1 step great-grandchild, Abby Robinson; sister Mollie Bowman of Birchwood, TN; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2012, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Gary Sears and Ronnie Dotson officiating. Interment will follow in Bettis Cemetery in Georgetown with Gene Allison, Danny Allison, David Sartin, Shannon Early, Matt Robinson and Bo Allison serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. His family will receive friends from 5 ? 8 p.m. Thursday, October 18, 2012, at the funeral home.
