Jean Dodson

Jean C. Dodson, 76, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, October 29, 2012, at a local hospital. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, "Buck" Dodson; parents, Albert Goerndt, and Dorothy Theide Goerndt; twin sons Tommy and Jimmy Dodson; sisters, Ruth McGuire, and Mary Lou Goerndt; brother, Robert Goerndt. She is survived by 3 children, Vicky Coffelt and husband Charlie of Chattanooga, John Dodson and wife Christy of Cleveland and Jennie Johnson of McDonald; 6 grandchildren, Bonnie Phillips, Cameron Szpur, Charity Szpur, Bradley Coffelt, Jordyn Dodson, and Brittany. Coffelt. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 31, 2012, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Atwood officiating. Interment will follow in Lee Cemetery. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the funeral home.
