Don E. (Donnie) Hatcher, 62, a resident of Benton passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012 in a local hospital. He moved with his family from Sevierville, Tennessee when they organized their business, Riverside Dairy Farm in Benton, Tennessee. Don was a kind and gentle man with a tender heart. Don was a member of Beech Springs Baptist Church. He served on the Soil Conservation Board and previously on the Farm Bureau Board. He was preceded in death by his father McKinley L. Hatcher; grandparents: William Robert and Bertha Hatcher and Frank and Una Cooper. He is survived by his devoted wife Candy Hatcher; mother: Dorothy Hatcher; sister and brother-in-law Wilma and Jim Guy; brothers and sisters-in-law Joe and Glenda Hatcher and Warren and Linda Hatcher; mother and father-in-law Sue Ledford and Jewell Ledford; sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws Buck and Cathy Ledford, Jan and Len Bell and Kathy and David Adams, special friends Jose Ceniceros and Carl (Hoss) Maples and a host of nieces and nephews and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend Jerry Campbell officiating. Jim Guy, Mac Hatcher, Carl (Hoss) Maples, Buck Ledford, Len Bell, and David Adams will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 21, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be Thursday, November 22, 2012 in Benton Memorial Gardens at 11:00 a.m. with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.
