Harold Gustov Wolf Jr.

Harold G. "Pete" Wolf Jr., a resident of Cleveland, quietly passed away on Nov. 28, 2012, surrounded by his family at the Hospice of Chattanooga. He was born on Dec. 4, 1938, in North Plainfield, NJ. He prided himself on the athletics he played in his youth and was an avid golfer and loved basketball. In 1968, he earned his Ph.D. in chemistry at Seaton Hall University. He retired from Lear Corporation in 2001, as the Manager of Research and Development of the automotive division. He and his wife returned to Cleveland for his retirement, during which he enjoyed his loves of fishing and wood working. He continued to take on new hobbies, including raising chickens and became a master gardener. He was preceded in death by his son, Ronald C. Wolf. He is remembered and loved by his surviving wife, Mary Jo Wolf, of Cleveland; five children: daughter Sandra A. (James) Pardington of West Bloomfield, MI, daughter Linda L. Wolf of West Bloomfield, MI, son Kenneth A. (Kristy) Wolf of Chesterfield, MI, daughter Wendy M. (Salvatore) DiGennaro of Huntsville, AL, son Thomas P. (Carrie) Jensen of Canton, MI.; and ten grandchildren: Caroline Pakulski, Megan Webb, Jacqueline Pakulski, Sydney Wolf, Grace Wolf, Alexander Pardington, Neil DiGennaro, Kyra Wolf, Jacob Jensen, and Caitlyn Jensen. At his request, there will not be a service; and in lieu of flowers we request donations be made to the Hospice of Chattanooga who served him and his family with dignity and grace in his time of need.
