Debora Marie Trewhitt Huebschman, 52, a resident of Charleston, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012 at her residence. She was a member of Broad Street United Methodist Church. She was an accomplished equestrian, with a lifelong passion that included raising and training quarter horses, as well as thoroughbred racing. She could never turn away from an animal in need. To be her friend was to be part of her family, a bond that was second to none in her life. She held uncontained pride for her two children, and had a unique bond with her husband that stretched nearly three decades. She is survived by her husband: Dr. Jon C. Huebschman; parents: father:Robert Trewhitt of Knoxville,TN; mother: Connie Asbill of Modesto, CA; two children: Kevin Michael Huebschman of Champaign, IL; and Katie Elizabeth Huebschman of Charleston, TN; mother-in-law: Judith Sweeney of Tell City, IN; sister: Sheryl Trewhitt of Everett, Washington; brother: Philip Trewhitt of Knoxville, TN; very special niece, Cheyenne Trewhitt of Knoxville, TN, as well as niece Krystal Huebschman, and nephews Patrick Huebschman and Philip Huebschman, all of Jasper, IN. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, December 6, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at Broad Street United Methodist Church with the Reverend Debbie Stokes and Reverend Skip White officiating. Interment will be Friday, December 7, 2012, at 1 p.m. in Lynnhurst Cemetery, Fountain City, Knoxville, TN, with Robert Trewhitt, Steve Trewhitt, Max "Moon" Pelley, Philip Trewhitt, Jay Weekly and Mike Friley serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Smith, Dennis Leamon, Charles Frady, Charles Kyle Stokes. Steve Trewhitt, Jr., and Gray Epperson. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 5, 2012, from 4-7 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
