Carol Joan Whittle Frazier, 78, of Old Fort, TN, passed away Saturday, December 1,2012, and went home to be with The Lord after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was a longtime member of Blue Ridge Temple Baptist Church at Old Fort. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 42 years, Charles Weldon Frazier, Sr., her parents: Leonard and Lorene Smith Whittle and a niece: Michelle Montgomery of Fairview Heights, Ill. She is survived by her daughters: Paula Roach of Ooltewah, Norma (Joey) Angelone of Old Fort, Judy Prince of Pulaski, TN, Lynn (Charlie) Parker of Cleveland; son: Charles (Judy) Frazier, Jr. of Old Fort; one sister: Betty Whittle Trew of Carlyle, Ill; two brothers: Gilford Whittle (Velma) of Ringgold, GA and Jerry Whittle (Rita) of Apison, TN; two nephews: Tony Montgomery of Cleveland and Bernie Drexler of Canal Fulton, OH; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Beavers, Reverend Jim Parm, and Reverend Leroy Elliott officiating. Interment will follow in Cumberland Shed Cemetery in Old Fort with family and friends serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the services.
