Edward James Keefe

Edward James Keefe, 53, a resident of Cleveland for the past two years, passed away Friday, June 5, 2009 in a local hospital. He was a member of Freedom Fellowship Church. He was a retired police officer after twenty-three years from Deerfield Beach, FL and Broward Co., FL., and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his father, Ed Keefe and brother, William Keefe. He is survived by his parents, David and Loretta Bednarcik of Cleveland; wife, Jane Elizabeth Keefe of Cleveland; son, Jared Keefe and daughter, Angela Keefe both of Savannah, GA; step-son, William Patrick Moats of Cleveland; one grandchild, Isaac Keefe of Savannah, GA; three sisters: Erin Guglielmo of Boynton Beach, FL, Penny Keefe of Melbourne, FL and Gina Emerton of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Monday June 8, 2009 at Freedom Fellowship Church with the Reverend Frank Evans and the Reverend David Clark officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-9 P.M. Sunday, June 7, 2009 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
