Larry Willson

Larry "Rick" Willson, 63, a resident of Thomaston, GA and a native of Cleveland, TN, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012 in an Augusta, Georgia VA hospital. He was a veteran of the United States Marines serving in the Vietnam Conflict. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eva Willson Dyer and step-mother, Syble Willson. He is survived by his father, Richard Willson of Cleveland; one son, Matt Willson of Powder Springs, GA; one daughter, Summer Willson of Athens, TN; three grandchildren, Caleb Willson, Haley Willson and Katie Willson all of Powder Springs, GA ; one sister, Donna Ingram of Cleveland; two brothers, Bob Willson and Bill Dyer and wife Tonya Dyer all of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2012 in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors. Reverend Joe Collins will officiate the service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 3, 2012 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory.
