Carolyn Ament Ingram, 79, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday afternoon, Sept 10, 2012, in a local health care facility. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church for 43 years, where she served faithfully as church organist, choir member, Sunday school teacher, and church secretary. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Bill G. Ingram, her parents, and all 3 of her siblings. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert Dwight Ingram and Tina Doster Ingram of Rocky Face, GA, and her daughter, Dana Lynn Garland, of Cleveland. She is also survived by her four precious grandchildren, Jason Mobley, Tanner Garland, Courtney Garland, and Tori Ingram. She enjoyed music, sewing, reading, sending cards to encourage others, TV sports, game shows, and "people". But her favorite job was being mom to her two kids and grandmother to four. She was a "behind-the-scenes" kind of servant who ministered to many and made an eternal investment in countless lives. Her celebration of life service will be held at Westwood Baptist Church on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. prior to the service. The family suggests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer?s Association or National Breast Cancer Foundation. Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements. We invite you to send a message of condolence and view the Ingram family guest book at www.ralphbuckner.com.
