Eugene Myers

Eugene "Wart" Myers, 77, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2012. He attended 4th Street Community Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Myers; parents, Richard and Reatha Myers; brothers, Cleve Myers, John Myers, Jim Myers and Herman "Squeaky" Myers; and sisters, Judy Gilbert, Vivian Brown and Eulene "Sis" Sneed. He is survived by his children, David Myers and wife, Barbara of Dalton, GA, Mike Myers and wife, Tracy of Chattanooga and Darlene Thurman and husband, Bobby of Cleveland; three grandchildren, Shonna Warren and Corey Myers, both of Cleveland and Sarah Myers of Dalton, GA; two great grandchildren, Jakob Warren of Cleveland and Ethan Myers of Dalton, GA; sister, Susie Satterfield of Cleveland; brothers, Bob Myers and Wayne Myers, both of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, September 14, 2012 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend Frank Ellis officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors. His family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
