Edna Marie Newman

Edna Marie Newman, 91, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2012 in a local hospital. She was of Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Newman; son, Stacy Dennis Newman and parents, Cash Miller and Annie Haney Miller Swanson. She is survived by her children, Perry Keith Newman and wife, Linda of Seymour and Vicki Johnston and husband, S.T. of Tellico Plains; four grandchildren, Brad Newman of Calhoun, Carrie Hicks of Charleston, Amy Partin and husband, Nathan of Charleston and Kadence Newman of Seymour; three great grandchildren, Amber White, Chase Kiser and Hallie Hicks; several nieces and nephews and many good friends at Wellington Place. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 23, 2012 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Her family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 ? 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. The family suggests that memorials be made to the charity of your choice.
