Lynne D. Stubbs, “YaYa”, 68, a resident of Cleveland and formerly of Louisiana, passed away Friday, May 20, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family after a short battle with cancer. She was of the Catholic faith. She drove hot shot, was an obsessed gardener, a wonderful cook and loved the beach and watching birds. She was preceded in death by her best friend of 40 years, Alice Strohl. She is survived by her mother, Gloria VanNorden; brothers: Richard Dorroh and Ronald Dorroh; sister, Vanessa Branch and husband Joe; children: Gloria Stubbs Ingram and husband Allan, Sam Earl Stubbs and wife Patricia, Ginger Stubbs Sehon and husband Mark, Elizabeth Richel Eakin and husband Randall; son-in-law Louis Lee; grandchildren: Christina Michelle Lynn and husband, Anthony, Ashley Melanie Lee and fiancée Dusty Deal, Sean Nicholas Lee, Markus Jed Berzas, Zackary Taylor Stubbs, Alice Richel Eakin, Benjamin Harlan Eakin, Chasity Sehon Weems, Gabrielle McKenzie Sehon, Michael Ingram, Mark Ingram and wife Tina and Joseph Ingram; great-grandchildren: Casey Michelle Lynn, Anthony Austin Lynn, Aiden Charles Presley Lynn, Eric Tilman Hutcheson, Jr., Charles Willis Hutcheson, Blakeleigh Lauren Weems, Chandler Blake Ingram; several nieces, nephews and close friends also survive. A Remembrance of Life Service will be held Monday, May 23, 2011 from 6-9 p.m. at the Old Pathway Missionary Baptist Church on Rymer Road. Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
