James A. Hoffman, 58, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, May 20, 2011 at the family residence. He was a member of Bowman Hills Seventh Day Adventist Church where he was a leader in the Pathfinders. He was a truck driver for McKee Foods for 17 years. He was preceded in death by his father, James Chadwick Hoffman and his sister, Cindy McCandless. He is survived by his wife of 8 years, Victoria Smith Hoffman of Cleveland and his mother, Dorothy Hoffman of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; two step-sons: Michael L. Hammond, Jr. and wife Traci Hammond of Cleveland and Chad Allen Hammond and wife Dorothy Hammond of Meigs County; grandson, Bryce Hammond of Cleveland. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2011 at the Bowman Hills Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Dwight Herod officiating. Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
