Rita Jones

Rita Marlene Jones, 56, a resident of Old Fort, passed away Friday, April 10, 2009 at the family residence. She was a member of Blue Ridge Temple Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren P. Welch and Nellie Jo Tillery Welchel; brothers: Warren P. Welchel, William D. Welchel and Dibell Welchel and step-father, Mike Gray. Survivors include her children: Larry and Shellie Stevison of Cleveland; Mandy Garay of Buford, SC and Dakkota Baker of Old Fort; grandchildren: Savannah Neely, Zachary Neely and Catie Stevison all of Cleveland; sister: Parrise Ann Ingram of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2009 at Blue Ridge Baptist Church.
