Mildred Kyle McKinnis

Mildred Kyle McKinnis, age 82, resident of Birchwood, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2009 in a local hospital. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Scott G. McKinnis; sons, Allan A. McKinnis and Michael McKinnis, Sr.; parents, Fred and Daisy Kyle; three sisters, Evelyn Mansel, Edith Gaines, and Mary Walker; one grandson, John Garren. She is survived by her children: Georgia Trinkner and husband Bill of Georgetown, Linda Oakley and husband Jimmy of Winter Park, FL, and Scott McKinnis and wife Kathy of Birchwood; daughter-in-law, Felicia McKinnis of Birchwood; grandchildren, Scott Trinkner, Wendi Trinkner, April Johnson, Michael McKinnis, Jr., Adam McKinnis, Jill Thomas, and Missey Oakley; great-grandchildren, Logan Johnson, Dakota Steele, Ben Trinkner, Nichole Trinkner, and Addie Thomas; sisters, Sue Shook, Freda Smith, and Ethel Elliott; brother, Joel Kyle; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 1 p.m. at McInturff Cemetery with Rev. David Delmotte officiating. Drew Johnson, Scott Trinkner, Michael McKinnis, Ben Trinkner, Adam McKinnis, and Dale Thomas will serve as pallbearers. The service will conclude with a White Dove Release Ceremony.
