Carolyn M. Looney, 78, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2009. She was a member of Broad Street United Methodist Church. She had her masters in Christian Education and was the ideal pastor and bishop?s wife. She partnered with her husband in ministry with love and enthusiasm. She was preceded in death by parents, William and Josephine Smith McKeithen; son, David Looney; and brother, Bill McKeithen. She is survived by her husband, Richard Looney; children, Teresa Brolley and husband, John of Erlanger, KY and Jonathon Looney of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Maria and Ian Brolley of Erlanger, KY, Logan Thrower and Joseph Looney, both of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, April 24, 2009 at 2:00 at Broad Street United Methodist Church. The Wesley Sunday School class and choir members from Broad Street Methodist will serve as honorary pallbearers. Her family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 on Friday, April 24 at the church prior to the service in the fellowship hall.
